Lady Lockett's Garden Tour with Optional Lunch

Come and discover Lady Lockett's garden situated in the hills overlooking Grasse with optional lunch available. Classified as a "Remarkable Garden" come and discover 8 acres of her beautiful plants that grow in and around her olive trees. She arrived in Grasse over 30 years ago to create this wonderful haven which she very happy to share with you and answer all your gardening questions. Should you wish to stay for an alfresco lunch on site a delightful menu of home grown produce will be used to create a delicious 3 course meal. Lunch will be from 12:00 -14:00.

Olive paste or Tapanade with grissini Savoury Quiche Salad ( including olives from the grove) Cheese, Bread roll Seasonal Fruit Tarte Wine or Beer, Water, Coffee are included. (please let us know of any food allergies)

*The Garden is not wheelchair accessible and due to the terracing wear comfortable shoes.
*Carpooling recommended as there isn't bus service.

Le Cigalon has remained in the hands of the same family since 1966 and has a large loyal customer clientele. Known for its location, friendly staff and also its welcoming atmosphere. Specialising in local Mediterranean produce with a taste of the Orient in decoration and cuisine. Whilst we will be dining inside the restaurant, you will be spoilt by the beautiful sea views of the bay.
The restaurant is almost opposite the Church of St Pierre with its iconic pointed tower on the seafront.
No difficulties with wheelchair access. Carpooling recommended but not necessary. Street parking and several car parks nearby.

We will meet at the entrance to go in as a group for our tour.
*Wearing comfortable attire with walking shoes is advised. No food is allowed in the reserve. If you have limited mobility but can step/climb into a cart than you will be able to enjoy the reserve.
*Carpooling is recommended but not necessary as parking is readily available.

This is a lunch where everyone is asked to bring a plate or dish of food. The choice is yours be it a starter, main, salad, cheese or dessert. It will all work. Wine, water and coffee will be supplied by the club. Please do not bring soup or food that must be kept really hot. Room temperature or cold is best. The event is kindly being hosted by Anne Kennedy at her home. People are encouraged to carpool to make parking easier. Buses do come this way however individuals must work out their own routes and ways of getting there.
