About IWCR
Our organization originally started off in 1987 as a club for expatriate women whose partners were working for an international company which had moved to the Riviera. It soon welcomed ladies with an international background from outside the company and in 1992 the independent IWCR (International Women’s Club of the Riviera) as it is known today, was founded.
The IWCR is run by a board. Board members are elected for a period of 2 to 3 years at the Annual General Meeting in May. We aim to have a representation from members across the region and from different nationalities. | Club Year The club year runs from January 1 of each year until end of December of the same year. The annual subscription is €30.
| Group Leaders The great asset of our organization are the many coffee and activity group leaders who together offer a very diverse activities’ programme and opportunities to meet all along the Riviera. |
Our Story
The GrangeThe IWCR is grateful to the Sunnybank Association for allowing the Club to use The Grange at Mouans-Sartoux for meetings and events. Sunnybank Association has its headquarters at The Grange, providing support in English for residents of the Victoria Residential Care Home and the Albert Retirement Apartments, both of which are on the same site.
