Discover one of the wildest landscapes in the Alpes-Maritimes at the Réserve des Monts d’Azur — a pioneering sanctuary dedicated to the rewilding and reintroduction of ancestral species into their natural habitat.
Set off on a unique, horse-drawn safari through this preserved environment. Pulled by powerful draft horses such as Mulassiers Poitevins or Boulonnais, your carriage will follow carefully chosen routes that vary with the time of day, allowing you to observe wildlife as it moves freely across the reserve.
Along the way, encounter majestic elk, European bison, ibex, wild horses, and many other species thriving in this remarkable ecosystem.
Following your guided tour, enjoy a refined three-course lunch at the reserve’s restaurant, Le TAKHI — the perfect way to complete an unforgettable nature experience.

We will meet at the entrance to go in as a group for our tour.

*Wearing comfortable attire with walking shoes is advised.
No food is allowed in the reserve.
If you have limited mobility but can step/climb into a cart than you will be able to enjoy the reserve.

*Carpooling is recommended but not necessary as parking is readily available.
