SPECIAL EVENTS
At the end of June the Club launched an urgent appeal to help the Var inhabitants after the floods. As a result, and very quickly, four cars—full of kitchen equipment, bedding and other things from two collection points (Vence and Valbonne)—went to Taradeau. The photograph shows two ladies from the Var and four Club members in the Salle de Fêtes in Taradau. We had a very warm welcome and were shown the enormous damage to the area.
Picnic on the Beach

The picnic on the beach was a success again
this year.
Set up at the sunset in front of the sea...
...there were a few tables laid for a picnic...
...to enjoy the food...
...and the convivial atmosphere...
...of that special evening—well into the night.

29 November. Please mark this date in your diary now and start putting
your clothes aside!
This is the great fund raising event for the Club's charity Les Hirondelles.
