VENCE COFFEE MORNING  CHANGE OF DAY (posted 3 September)

The Vence Coffee Group will be meeting on Wednesday in future rather than Thursday.     See full details on ‘Regular Activities’ and click on Vence coffee

MONACO COFFEE MORNING 10 September 

Monaco Coffee morning will be held on Thursday 10 September see ‘Regular Activities’ on the main menu and click on Monaco Coffee.  Please register with Merville.

MIDDLEMARCH

It is hoped that hiking   will start again by the second Tuesday in September, so it’s worth remembering to get your Medical Certificate updated next time you visit a doctor.   As always, members will receive an email from Gillian before we hike.

CANNES COFFEE MORNING (posted 8 August 2020)

for the time being, the IWCR Cannes coffee group will meet on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Caffe Roma, situated on the Croisette, directly opposite the Palais des Festivals/Casino.

BRIDGE GROUP (OPIO) (posted 17 July 2020)

The Opio Bridge group have started meeting again at the Chateau de la Begude on Tuesdays.  For further information see ‘Regular Activities’ on the main menu and then click on  Bridge, Opio

OPIO COFFEE GROUP (posted 17 July 2020)

The Opio/le Rouret/Roquefort group are still meeting at le Petit Geranium in Opio and will continue through the rest of July and August.  Staff are careful with anti covid measures, wiping chairs and tables between each change of customer.  For more details see ‘Regular Activities’ on main menu and click on  Opio Coffee.

PATCHWORK GROUP (posted 3 July 2020)

The Patchwork group has already started again meeting in members’ gardens on Thursdays from 10.30 until 15.00. You don’t need to come the whole day. See ‘Regular Activities’ on the main menu and click on  Patchwork and Quilting for full details.

VALBONNE COFEE GROUP (posted 3 July2020)

The Valbonne Coffee Group has been meeting in members’ gardens but from  Wednesday 8 July they will be back to their usual meeting place from 11.00 – 12.00 at “Le Fournil de Baptiste” Boulangerie, above Salle des Fêtes.  See ‘Regular Activities’ on the main menu and click on   Valbonne Coffee Group

CHATEAUNEUF COFFEE GROUP (posted 1 July 2020)
 
The Chateauneuf Coffee Morning will start meeting again at The Castle pub on Monday 6th July. ANTIBES COFFEE GROUP (posted 1 July 2020)
 
Antibes/Juan Les Pins Coffee Group starts again on 6 July at 10 a.m. at the new venue –  l’Ultimo Brasserie in Juan Les Pins from 10-11.30 See ‘Regular Activities’ on the main menu and click on  Antibes Coffee Group for full details.
 
NEW PRESIDENT and members of the Board (posted 10 June 2020)
 
The AGM took place on 29 May.  Anne Kennedy was elected President and Nadia Graves and Jackie Pressman-Gintell joined the Board.
The retiring members were Janet Grant (President)  Elisabeth Stadelmann (Membership Secretary) Mary Temple (Secretary) and Cynthia Adams (Director).  There are still vacancies for Membership Secretary, Secretary and a Director.

HELP AND SUPPORT DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS (posted 23 March 2020)

The charity Cancer Support France, which provides support to English-speakers touched by cancer, is expanding its brief to give help more widely during the Covid-19 crisis.Any English-speaker who is elderly, vulnerable, isolated or has health problems can make contact for emotional and practical support.
