Vis-a-vis, Fernand Leger and his friends
A focus on creative friendship and collaboration, this exhibition explores two classical subjects in art history: on the one hand, the representation of the human figure and on the other, the landscape to show how they were revisited by modern artists. Fernand Léger took part in several art movements throughout his life: he painted as a Neo-Impressionist at first, then joined the Cubist movement, then Purism and many others. It reveals how creative Fernand Léger was. This attitude inspired others artists and still today Léger continues to be a source of inspiration for contemporary artists.
