Annual Book Sale and Coffee

There is always a new selection of books in several languages.
€5 for all the coffee, tea and cakes that you would like. Pay at the door. All proceeds go to our charity fund supporting Les Hirondelles. For more information or to donate books call Dorothy or Penny.
Les Hirondelles, one of the charities our Club supports, is an Institut Medico-Pedagogique for multi handicapped children in Sophia-Antipolis. There are 80 children from 2 to 18 years old who attend the school and they are surrounded by very caring personnel.
The Director of Les Hirondelles has offered to have members of the Club visit the school in small groups on pre-arranged visits. If you are interested in such a visit, please contact Dorothy.
The Association France Cancer
is collecting real corks from wine and champagne bottles. The corks are sold, processed and used for craft work. The money received goes to cancer research. The Alpes-Maritimes area donated €9000 worth this year. For more information, visit the website http://www.france-cancer.com

The Association Valentin Hauy
offers support to blind people and is looking for volunteers in the Grasse area. Generally you would drive people to meeting places or engage in conversation in their homes. Please contact Mme Suzanne Cambon 04 93 38 27 00 for more information.
