From Monet to Bonnard: a liberation of colour and form
This three lecture series will trace the path of the Impressionists, the Post-Impressionists, the Symbolists and the Nabis as they opened the doors of colour and form as expressive elements in their own right. In addition to Monet and his circle, we will examine the work of Seurat, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Vuillard and the greatest of the Nabi painters, Pierre Bonnard. The series will close with a visit to the newly opened Musée Bonnard in Le Cannet.
The Encounters will once again be conducted by Mary Lynn Riley, who works with groups at the Musée Bonnard, l’Espace de l’Art Concret and other local museums.

car pooling will be arranged; public bus service is available
Participants: minimum 10 participants required
Fee: €55.00 (including entry to the Bonnard Museum) payable by cheque to the IWCR

Tennis Special: Rolex Masters
Monday 16 April
We have been invited to the Ladies’ day at the Monaco Rolex Masters. Tickets will be €21 per person for the whole day, bookable by early February at the latest, which means we have to have your cheques by the end of January. These are good tickets at reduced prices for tennis clubs, etc.
